ONOCAN started 10 years ago, in Târgu Mureș, out of a need and a desire to do things differently. What we didn't know then is that it would become the passion of our lives and the foundation for our children's future.

We create out of love for beauty and quality. For the sake of minimalist elegance and with the thought, always, of the beauty of the customers who choose to wear ONOCAN.

We started in an improvised workshop of a few square meters, which barely fit 4 people: There were two of us, Cătălin and Diana, who drew the models, made templates, cut the leather and tried to fit accessories, and two others were customers who it's amazing how we manage in such a small space.

In time... we chose to study design and discover how those who produce purses for international brands work. That's how we discovered at what level we want to create and overcome the limits that others set for us: we wanted to make ONOCAN ours, not someone else's.

And we dared to dream that what comes out of our hands can reach the whole of Romania and even the whole world.

I spent hundreds of hours at profile fairs and customer reactions began to appear, more and more orders, nights of hand sewing and painting custom designs... And then came the design awards. What we imagined became appreciated and awarded by people in the industry!

That's when I knew that all our efforts...were worth it. And that we are not crazy when we dream of creating luxury that reaches across the oceans from a workshop of a few square meters.

How much is it worth?

I did not know. We do not know.

But we know that we are not stopping and we feel that after 10 years we are just getting started.
